International Trade Administration released a forecast for the growth of e-commerce market in Africa, stating that:
“Africa is forecast to surpass half a billion ecommerce users by 2025, which will have shown a steady 17% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of online consumers for the market.”
This growth is fueled by the expansion of internet access and the increasing reliance on mobile internet.
